IBUS The link between STTP core components and repositories is the Integration Bus (IBUS). Based on the SPRING framework, this internal bus is responsible for providing data to core components whenever needed and forwarding matching events to repositories, such as trade notifications for the credit checking or stp notifications to back-office systems. The IBUS API gives users a high degree of flexibility in the choice of the sources for the data repositories, and in the implementation methods for STTP. Specifically, it avoids dumping into STTP data already existing in another banks' systems, such as a global referential for the instruments definitions, an LDAP directory of users or another vendor's referential with a custom data model.
